Walk up to Castle Hill Fort with a picnic and a bottle of wine provided by us and sit atop some 1000 years of history! We’ll provide you with a cheese and/or meats platter, a bottle wine of your choice and a picnic carrier with plates and cutlery provided. Especially beautiful during bluebell season in April/May.
Unfortunately, pooches are not allowed on Castle Hill Fort, but if you want your furry friend to accompany you, we can recommend an alternative spot to while away the hours.
£10 – £15pp plus wine.
Most of this beautiful walk is on Cranborne Estate, and will take you across fields, down lanes and through woodland.
We’ll provide you with a walking map, flask of coffee/tea, a sandwich, crisps and a cool drink.
Pooches can be let off the lead for most of the walk, but we recommend a lead is used near villages.
Walk through the quaint village of Pentridge and visit St Rumbolds Parish Church, see thatched cottages and working farms, trundle alongside Bokerley Dyke, smell wild flowers on Martin Down Nature Reserve and enjoy the 360 degrees of Dorset from the top of Pentridge Hill.
We’ll provide you with a walking map, flask of coffee/tea, a sandwich, crisps, energy bar and a cool drink.
There is some hill walking and potential muddy spots.
Pooches can be off lead for most of the walk, but we recommend a lead is used near villages.
Stay with us whilst we develop more packages, tours and tasters of Dorset.
