An extremely friendly pub. We had a 16-month old puppy with us, which was unexpectedly centre of attention, with treats being brought from behind the bar. We only stayed for a drink on our travels, but will certainly return if we are in that area again. The food looked good!
This is a superb inn, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the food superb. My son came over from Japan for the week and I put them up in the Inn. They looked after him and he had a great stay. A quaint and period inn.
My wife and I love the Inn at Cranborne and have many fond memories of the staff, excellent food and delicious G&Ts with the friendly and welcoming staff, Charlotte, Zoe and Jane in particular who have made our stays and meals at the Cranborne Inn over the last few months such jolly and enjoyable experiences. The rooms are lovely, clean and tidy and beds most comfortable. The food is some of the best we have had in pubs in England. One can feel real professionalism and experience behind the delicious food. It is no surprise that the Chef has had top training and I feel the food is excellent value for money. Having got married in the church 50 yards down the lane, The Inn at Cranborne will always hold a very fond place in our hearts. Thanks for another wonderful weekend at the Inn!
